Your opportunity to place your logo on a sporting certainty In 2009 four ocean rowers from Bexhill-on-Sea put the sleepy town on the world map by becoming the winners of the first Woodvale Indian Ocean race. Press coverage was huge and long lasting, a great payback for the sponsors of the boat and team. The Bexhill rowers are back with an audacious challenge on the record for rowing the Atlantic from East to West. 2011 is the 40th year anniversary of the first historic Atlantic row by Geoff and Don Allum. Their record of 74 days stood for 25 years, although larger crews have now brought the record down to 33 days. We intend to beat that record! The crew will be six in number, based on three of the four winners of the  in 2009. To make this challenge for the Woodvale Atlantic Allum Cup Race a reality our boat requires a Challenge Partner to name the boat and provide the key sponsorship for the team. We will be running fund raising events and can call on the goodwill of many small sponsors but only one will be inextricably linked in the eyes of the world with what we are confident will be a record that will stay on the books for many years.
